Stupid question for you guys.

Anyone no where I can buy these flared 2.5" ends with flanges? I've searched high and low all over the interwebs and I'm starting to wonder if it's something I need to buy at my local exhaust shop?

No help on where to buy. I had the muffler shop here in town make a couple for me. IIRC they did it for 10 bucks.

Probably my best bet.

I would have thought a company like Walker would make them but no dice. I did find a corvette parts retailer that sells them for $120

one of those might work but I need a 3 bolt flange that works with it. For $6 maybe it's worth a shot for the piping.

I don't think a header reducer will work, I also don't think they're the correct 3 bolt pattern. I have a set of headman reducers and the pattern is wrong.

actually the more I look at that ball end it wouldn't fit right.

It needs to be more of a 45 flat flare to fit this

yep, actually upgraded to a 20 ton not long ago to press the outer planetary ring gear into the ECO box.

Just a thought. Might need some kind of collar to keep the entire pipe from deforming

I'm going to stop by the exhaust shop I use and see if he can hook me up with a couple.

Also ordered a 2.5" builder kit which consists of:
  • Four 48" Straight Pipes
  • Four 90 Degree Pipes
  • Four 45 Degree Pipes
  • Four 180 Degree U-Bends

I got this kit through speedway, $140 to my door. Summit kits were over $200. I still need to buy the merge and some 3" for after the merge and muffler.

Just re-read this thread from start to finish... what a great build. You have come a long long way. Keep up the good work.

I would think that's plenty. I'm only figuring on total of 3 180° U bends for my 2.5" dual to single 3.5". Plus 2 4' straights.
