Is the bearing plate cover a ruffstuff item?

The cover that bolts to the np205 is from DIY4X, it came with a couple tabs and a bushed DOM sleeve as a kit. The four bolt flange is from ruffstuff.

Several holes didn't line up anyway.

Pretty sure it's not a symmetrical bolt pattern, i.e.you have to keep turning it until you get the right pattern! I thought there was an issue too until i figured that out.

That flange implementation is simpler than I had in mind and makes a lot of sense. Good job!

Gonna layout with the gasket...

That would be the right way.

I'll need to remove a piece of that plate to accommodate the JB shifter plate which also bolts to that cover. In hindsight I probably should have used a TMR kit or made something.

Tomorrow AM I'll remove the front main crossmember and add a bunch of tube I cut today that will extend to the front of the trans pan.

Can't you just weld or drill/tap/bolt the shifter plate to the existing plate?

Correct, it's not symmetrical and the holes were still off. I sat at my bench for a long time moving it around on the cover and it would t line up, had to bore out a coupe holes to 1/2".

And thanks, I didn't like any other option I tried.

Might be a silly question, but did you flip it over and try clocking again? It has to be the right side out too.

Maybe, not sure if there's enough adjustment in the cables. I've seen a couple others with that plate notched.

Yeah I also tried that. It was odd because the inside and outside plates didn't even match. I'm not too worried about it now, I dealt with that months ago and made it work.

Sorry you had trouble with the parts. I'll look into. Wished you would have said something.

I meant to send you an email just as an FYI earlier this year when I ran into the problem. Its all good, an oversized drill bit fixed it.

Not sure how many inches or degrees, never measured it, just kept clocking the crawl box until I found a place I liked it. I can probably get a degree reading though.

The floor is getting cut, it's a 2wd cab and barely cleared the 205 behind the th350 with a 1" body lift.

The freestyle book is a frisbee for polish horseshoes.

More dumb questions:

Can you get the tranny pan off?
Is the rear cross member hanging that much lower than the t case, or is that an optical conclusion?

Polish horses play frisbee?

No, I would need to drop the main crossmember to drop the pan. The t-case crossmember hangs about a 1/2" lower than the lowest point of the t-case so a skid can slide under it. Essentially the bottom of all the 2x2 front to back is on the same plain so that I can bolt a skid to it.

Polish horseshoes is a drinking game we play when we camp. It's a lot of fun.

This is mine...

I'm confused
