Haha exactly and the amount of parts needed. Its always a waterfall of modifications. One thing leads to ten other things.
Spent a long day in the garage Saturday from about 11am to 2am 
Over a year ago I sold my little 110v Snap On welder which never really worked that great and bought a Hobart 210 MVP. Never got a chance to use it because I wanted to use the 220 feature and my garage power is lacking. So I decided it's easiest to build a 25' extension cord and run it into the laundry room . Also picked up the HF welding cabinet.
Referred the to Hobart table for wire speed/heat and let her rip
Not bad eh?
Several hours later I had the back bone burned in along with the lower shock mounts with a coat of primer and a couple coats of satin black laid down. Here you can see the back bone bolted up with the Ruffstuff diff cover. A 22oz Auburn Ale House Gold Digger keeps me lubricated.
Had to notch the Ruffstuff pinion guard to clear the Anti Wrap tab.
Not past midnight, paint is still tacky on the axle housing and drums but I was determined to get this installed.

DIY4X's shock inboarding kit drilled and bolted in place
From yesterday afternoon
I bought the wrong brake line adapter from WFO so I couldn't make any noise (no mufflers right now). Today I'll order the correct 7/16" fitting. Then the bed will go back on and I'll finish the anti-wrap.
I also took the time to drill out the rest of the holes needed for the A Bomb and install all the hardware. The winch will be here today so if I have time tonight I'll take a closer look at what trimming is needed.
Then it's onto the front axle seals (on order now) and I'll be moving the shocks to a straight vertical locations over the axle.
Twin stick, exhaust and little stuff from there.

Looks really good! That little hobart is great, i need one of those! Are you using the 14 inch travel shocks in the rear?

Cool! i was noticing your axle mounts are on top of the tube and bmxbryants are on bottom. I suppose its not much different.
I wanted the additional clearance.

Makes sense to me. Do you think your going to get a chance to try stuff out at prairie city before the trip?
I'll be going somewhere but I'm not sure where or when yet.
Winch arrived and I was interested to see how it would fit so I spent a little time in removing the grille/bezels and bolted the winch to the A-Bomb.
Apparently laying stickers straight isn't a priority of Engo
I need to pickup some longer bolts that will go through the aluminum hawse today since the ones provided barely grab the winch. Also need to figure out where to mount the solenoid box, I was thinking about mounting behind the grille, need to put more thought into that still. Either way I'll be forced to extend the wiring from the winch to the solenoid box.

I forgot that I wanted to weigh it before putting it on the truck. I'm thinking it's 55sh pounds with the synthetic rope for anyone that is wondering.

Dang that's light. A comparable steel rope equipped winch of the same rating would weigh over 100 lbs. and it would probably have a shorter cable too. My Warn has 90' (I think) of 9/16" steel cable and it weighs about 90-95 lbs. but it's only rated for 10,500 lbs.
I mounted mine like this, it is close to the radiator tho....another thing with the engo, check all the bolts and seals. mine were a bit loose all around. they work good for the money tho.
the box weighed in at 65lbs now that I look at it, rope is 85' long.
much lighter than my 8274 Warn on the trailer!
