89-99 trucks with a 4l80e IIRC and also some trucks with a th400. Needs to be a 241 since they had a 6 gear planetary, 208's have a 3 gear planetary.

I have 3 32 spline 241 cases to my name right now and will eventually be selling at least one of them. I could probably strip what you need out of the case and ship just those parts. I would still need to sell it for the price of a complete case though.

So after doing a bunch of research im finding that most places only make shock hoops in 1.5"od. Not sure about you but I would like to cage the engine at some point so 1.75 would make life easier. I found someone who has a square body running bluetorch shock hoops, which are 1.75. He stradled the steering shaft so it didnt need to be messed with. I have pics if youre interested. Damn bluetorch shock hoops are 139 bucks!
Yeah I was thinking about that, probably best if they were 1.75" for the sake of simplicity.

Same here. He said the kit is more or less untouched. He just made the angle cut for the frame and fishmouthed it for the farther back dom piece. I just found the hoops on blue torch. It appears their the only ones on the face of the Earth who arent giving some holiday discount lol.
If he can fully compress that much shock then I am impressed but if so it looks like the shock body would eventually contact the steering shaft at full compression.
Can't tell if it will interfere but I agree the hoops are too tall.

Not sure about you guys but I see quite a bit of room. He said it all cleared. Its really a function of that rear tube placement. The more you swing out on that the more clearance you get, just gets a little more weird with tieing into an engine cage. I may have some more pics let me check...

I have a pretty short list of parts needed for this swap to happen. Yesterday I ordered a PTO cover from Kert so I can fill the T-case when it's clocked flat. Also need a th400/NP208 short adapter, waiting on a member here on CK5 to get back to me. Once I have the adapter in hand I'll be able to verify which output I'll need for the TH400, it currently has a the long 4.5" stick out so I'll need one of the shorter versions to mate with the NWF ECO BOX. Good news is that Advance Adapter sells those for about $95. I'll end up bringing the TH400 to my tranny shop so it can be torn down, inspected and install the correct output.
Meanwhile I've been looking a crossmember designs so I can build something that properly supports the drivetrain. Likely build it all from square tube with some of the ruffstuff's bushed DOM sleeves.

Just need to cut your own tube sleeves. Comes with what you see in the pic, so 2 bushing sets.

Yeah I may cut my own DOM sleeves, in fact I think I already have some in the garage.

With my new toy (plasma cutter) I feel the urge to get fancy although I know to K.I.S.S. or it will bite me in the ass. Lot's of ideas but I need to get the drivetrain up under the rig to figure it out which direction I want to go.
Nice, I did not know they offered just the bushings. I thought they only sold the full sleeved kits etc.
