Yeah I have some wrap and it claims to knock the heat down by half or better. I'll be taking some temp measurements to see what really happens.
probably be ok. You could add a couple pieces of the stick on heat pad on the bottom of the cab too.

I don't any experience with that stuff but I'm thinking id like to try it. I'd like to keep the heat away from my oil filter/hydraulic clutch stuff...
I put some on the bottom of the cab in the transmission tunnel and it definitely made a difference. It's a DEI product with dimples in the foil backing. They claim it will stick to anything. I did wipe down the area with alcohol as best I could and I think it's sticking fine. I haven't looked to see after Blazer Bash.
I'd like to lay some down too, I'll look into the DEI stuff. Hot floors suck....

I wrapped mine.....It will cut down on some heat, not as much as they claim.
I also wrapped the shift cable and some battery cables that ran down the same side with tube wrap.
Did that too...Really helped the floorboards the most.

Some pics of the exhaust fab from today. Need to get the merge, some 3" bends and the muffler before I can continue on. I feel like the hard part is done though.
