FWIW the Ferd's and Dodges need a larger center bore. I've heard the H2's only need to be opened up a 1/16" for the chevy60. I tried to measure the D60 last night but my caliper jaws aren't long enough. As far as the 14B goes, some say it needs to be opened up while others say it does not. I think some of the confusion is with the later model AAM FF axle, I'll find out after I get the tires dismounted.

Removed the old rubber from 4 of the H2's and cleaned them up

And BTW @82355 the rims need to be bored out for the Chevy D60. I couldn't find my router and remembered I let a buddy borrow it so I'll do that later

Odd. I just used a wire brush to clean the rust off of my Dana 60 hubs, and slid them on. Definitely a tight fit though.

Glad to see you haven't painted them!

Maybe the rust ate away enough and the lack of paint. It won't take much to make them fit right.

And I'm not painting them.

Last night when I was looking things over I found an area that could be a potential weak spot.

right where this line is.....

Option 1 and I box a short section so I can still access the bolts for the A-Bomb

Or option two and I cut a couple 1/4" gussets that slide in between the two backing plates

I like option #1. Option #2 seems like more pressure to a smaller area.
