Just makes me tempted to put the locked out distributor on now.

With that MSD unit you're using, did you just install it at 0° and hooked it up to the FiTech?

The crank should be in whatever your base timing position is (10 degrees in my case) and then you drop in the distributor with it pointing to the #1. Then you tell the FiTech what your base timing is (again 10 in my case).

It's easy enough to add later, my HEI cap and rotor was garbage so I just dropped in the MSD distributor.

Been busy with other priorities since the last update however I was able to cleanup some wiring and played around with the new psc pump. Also bought a matching set of Yukon 5.13's and a install kit for the 14b so I'll probably re-gear it after I have it running and driving.

I'll have more updates soon.

On an unrelated note, I won this at the fishing derby this morning.

So are you seriously on vacation in Miami, and checking on CK5 during daylight hours? (When I would assume that you can see non-truck scenery)

If so, I will laugh, because I understand..

No I'm here for work, nothing exciting and I haven't had a chance to see a single bikini babe. I'll be back in July and staying a block off the beach.....

Have you spoken to your work about this impropriety?

I had a disconnect laying around so I decided to use it so all accessories can be killed easily. Off this disconnect I'll add a small fuse panel for the blower, USB power, lighting etc. need to run a larger feed off the battery to the disconnect when I add more accessories.

Blasted and painted the power steering brackets. I bought a new pulley but for whatever reason it fit too tight on the shaft so I ended up using the pulley that was on the old pump.

Also played around with the front shocks so I can plan where the hoops and brake lines will go. I'm thinking I'll be around 5" bump/9" droop. Shocks are also leaning back about 4-5 degrees in this pic.

It's pretty nice being able to reach in and turn the key and it fires up without pumping the gas pedal.

And the H2 rims are done, need to pick those up and mount the Nittos. I'm thinking I might upgrade air stems/valves for faster airing down. Any suggestions on those?
