If you attach a cable from that solenoid stud you highlighted green to ground, you're gonna be in for a meltdown when you go to crank it.

where do you think it goes then? Odd it says to ground the starter yet there isn't a clear grounding terminal mentioned.
Well shoot it would be a little clearer if it said it was talking about the ground cable from the battery.

You're running to the point where it's almost time to decide to put a new harness in over finding and fixing each piece of monkey wiring..

Thanks for your help guys.

In hindsight I probably should have looked over the wiring while the cab was sitting on the dolly. Would have been a lot easier to address the failing connections and re-loom it all.

I was at that point a couple days ago for sure. I think I'm good now, I've went through the harness from the column all the way through the engine bay and made repairs where needed. I still need to deal with the taillight harness but that's pretty simple.

I'm still feeling stupid for the starter wiring misinformation. :doah:

Anyway, you're running the EP381 right? Curious what pressure it's running at.

Meh, no harm no foul.

I'm regulated at 58psi per the gauge

You should use the common tap on the meter instead of the fused 10A in. That should be used when checking Amp draw not voltage.

thanks, I noticed that late last night when I was putting it away.

I let the kids play around with the meter last week.

That's what I was planning too. Problem is now I can't find it. I think I might have accidentally thrown it out with a pile of boxes. :doah:

Funny thing is if I have to order another, this will be the 4th! I ordered the 180° to begin with. Then thought I was going to go factory TBI so I exchanged it for a 190° unit. Then decided to go with the Sniper so I returned the 190° for a 180°. Now it looks like I'll be ordering another 180°! :doah:
