Looks a little shy of exiting from under the truck
Just an observation

I wouldn't suggest adding tabs from the box sides to the sliders. That's how my Colorado was and the frame and body flex ripped a nice chunk of bedside out.
I want to do the same thing to my exhaust when I do the blazer tank swap, curious if you get exhaust into the cab.
Was your bed tied in any other way? I figure if my bed floor is tied into the slider it wouldn't have much if any pressure on the bedside.
It has a bed cage that's tied to the frame in the rear and a body box mount in the front, but no the slider wasn't attached any other way.
I'm going to be doing the same rock sliders, but I always envisioned mine sticking out a little further, say with a 2x6 instead. Are you happy with how far out they stick?
Well, I know of 2 situations where a 2x6 might have helped the damage. Not prevented it, but much less damage. That's what made me think of the 2x6.yeah it's about what I envisioned but I may add a piece of tube later, notched for a step. Even if they were out another couple inches it won't protect the side of the truck in most scenarios right?

I've see it used on some builds.
Been trying to decide whether or not to paint them white or black, leaning toward white so they blend in.
