Im running a Derale temp sensor is in the pan, it was reading 180-185 most of the drive last night.

I think I'm turned off of derale stuff permanently. It's seems cheap to me, or overpriced. However one chooses to look at it.

I had problems with the stupid sensor leaking (so did @Babaganoosh), actually two of them leaked but I sealed up the second with RTV. Pretty irritating to install new parts and have them piss fluid all over on a fresh build.

Drove the truck to work, it's 65 out and was a nice cruise with the tube doors. I'm looking forward to Moab but I also can't wait to get back in the Sierra Mountain cool air. I should also mention that the heat barrier I installed under the truck made a huge difference with the heat radiating off the floor under my feet. I can now put my hand on the floor in 100+ degree ambient weather.

Weather for the next 6 days before Moab ranges between 103 and 110 :doah:

The next few mornings/nights I have a short list of stuff to knock out.

  • Install new PS Bracket
  • Wire winch breaker
  • Wire cig lighter/USB power
  • Drill a couple holes for the Eco Mount
  • nut/bolt check
  • check fluids
  • add hooks for cooler/spare tire tie downs
  • move trans cooler so grille will fit

So brakes are good?

Messed with the double low yet?
