Camping was fun

Finally getting a free moment to type out a post trip report but we had a fun weekend camping, fishing, shooting, wheeling, riding etc. up in the Tahoe National Forest. We left the women and kids at home so there was no shortage of shenanigans on this trip 
As time permits I have a few things to address:

- Rear Spring (pass rear) ferd 57" is wiped out, probably need to look at adding some bumps
- 205 rear output leaks
- driveline vibration, need to shim the rear pinion up a little, maybe 2 degrees
- Trans cooler needs a little help, need to loop in the radiator cooler so the fluids warms up in the cool weather and then cools better when it's hot. It seems to be one extreme or the other too often.
- Passenger downpipe is pretty smashed from my HAD driveshaft and I have a exhaust leak at the collector. Fitech was not happy about that extra O2 coming in through the exhaust.
- Steering worked fine all weekend, seemed a little slow at times randomly after long stretches of higher rpm driving but functioned fine all weekend otherwise.
I thought about running some 56's with more leafs since I use this truck as a truck still. I'm not sure I see the point of 63's with the flex I'm getting from a 57, then again maybe those 63's can handle more of a load than I think they can. Also, the truck is setup for the offset pin these ferd springs have and I'm not sure how a different spring would work and whether or not a front hanger adjustment would compensate.

FYI, my current 56's are 6 leaves plus an overload bottom, and they flex nice...

it's a function over fashion decision and you can't cool the balls with half doors. I'll likely pickup a set of ORD tube doors for this truck, I'm over the rattle these slide latches have and I like how the ORD and DIY4X doors have sheet metal that covers the hinges.
I'll look into it, again I'm not sure what the offset is on those but they would need to keep the rear axle where it is now. I'm not redoing my anti-wrap and rear hangers for junk yard springs, I'll tear it all out for links before I modify that stuff again.

Do the 57s provide that much more flex over the 56s? Generally curious.
How well does that canoe rack work? I could use something like that so it would work in either of my pickups. What holds it in the stake pockets?
57's are 25/32 offset.
They flex really well however I really like the ride quality more than anything else. I can haul ass down rocky trails and the ass stays planted even with shitty pro-comp shocks.
Fantastic other than the canoe turning into a sail a few times over the mountain peaks. The uprights slide into larger square tube pockets (provided with the kit) that are bolted to the bed so the uprights are easily removed when not in use. For the $70 I couldn't make it cheaper.
