Also bent the tie rod back a little, it’s still bent up quite a bit. Fluids are checked, bolt check is finished. Found a few odd things loose like my rear flip kit, lower rad hose, steering column heim, found my seat belt pull strap and reinstalled that. Blew out the interior, need to clean the window and pack my shit.

Time for some rock proof tie rods

I think the weight of the truck will bend any tie rod. I still don’t know what I did but I must have fell onto a big ass rock to bend it up like I did. But it’s away from the ram enough not too worry about it.

I have a new ruffstuff tie rod kit sitting in the garage from @NorCalAnthony that will likely be used for hi-steer later.

Not knowing a ton about either trail, I would have guessed it was the other way around.

just some narrow, off camber spots on the rubicon that break taillights. On the last rubicon trip all three square bodies had at least one if not two broken lights.

Fordyce was fun, truck did well and got some more dents. Most of it was from WH1 which is tore the fck up! The approach was really dug up with some big boulders which required a winch in one spot. The top of the obstacle is usually the more difficult part was fairly straight forward but I smashed my front fender and the back of the bed/taillight. I may have bumped a heep at the top too

Here’s some pics along the river the first night, WH1 and our campsite at the pools.

@mrk5 is to blame for the broken taillights

some other issues and items I need to address:

1) oil pressure https://ck5.com/forums/threads/454-losing-oil-pressure.340673/
2) add front bumper supports
3) replace passenger fender/fix headlight
4) order and install new HAD driveshaft boot
5) replace tie rod
6) front driver Yukon lockout is leaking grease. I’ll probably tear down both hubs for bearing inspection too.

probably something else I’m forgetting :dunno:
