84 K20 "Ethel" Not an Sbc/NV4500/241C

Semi restoration of a 1984 K20 pickup. 5.3 LS, nv4500, np241c.
That bumper sticker has made many rounds at power houses over the years. I know I have personally attached at least 15 of them.

Pretty much the least shocking news ever.

Did I mention that I had to clearance my AA bell housing just to fit the 168 tooth flywheel? Then I had to use a series of spacers so the mechanical clutch Z bar bracket would actually fit?
 
Lemme ask then is there a potential for a small market of properly made clutch slave brackets?? I'd expend some effort to make something like this available.. thoughts?
 
Yes the oem parts are so unreasonably priced now makes it helpful. I'd pair it with a pedal conversion kit too. Manual pedals and bellhousing are common. Make that crap use hydro parts would do well.

I had a custom bracket designed for the same reason. The aa bracket doesn't even fit the aa bellhousing.
 
the AA bell i bought was $325...not expensive fore a new bell. I had to work it to get the starter nose to fit though. For me the slave bracket fit the bell they sent me...
 
Well this part isn't even flat.. so I am either going to design and build a new bracket or modify this to work...

Well I thought that I had a housing off, but I only have a complete case. Sorry to get your hopes up!!!!
