Also pulled the trigger on the ARB, gears and install kit for the 60. Also grabbed some 35 spline outers and joints.

No, I haven’t powder coated anything in my life. Haha. I’m a spray painter. Cheaper and easy to touch up.You powder coating the plates and stuff?
Thanks. Starting to get excited. Still need to order hubs, brakes and lockouts though.Noice
Thanks. The only hard part is trying to clean the caked on, baked on grease off.Mmmmmm axle porn, looking very good!
This a d44? I'm thinking about building MI e instead of upgrading to a d60 in my k5. I have all the 3/4ton stuff for 8 lug I'd just have to do all the axles like you are
That's kind of why I was considering it for the k5. To keep weight and ground clearance to a minimum as I'm probably keeping 35s. Sorry to clog up your thread @Fastereddie I just saw the 6 lug hubs on the floor n couldn't tell. Looks good though! That's a 60. Probably want to really look at cost and use before you make a decision. I built a 44, but it was anything but normal.
Cost me as much as a 60 in the end, but with half the weight and an extra 1-2" of ground clearance
