Well, ran into a snag with the tractor tires. *What was supposed to be a set... all four have different backspacing. *Different enough that I don't want to use them as is. *So, the 5 ton centers that were welded in when I got them are a waste. *Needs brand new centers now.

Driveshafts are in process.

Driveshaft parts will be in Monday and welded up soon after. New wheel centers will be ready next week.

As it sits now. I want it wide, but not this wide.

I want to make sure it is under 102" wide. I refuse to swap tires this big in order to trailer it. MI law is 102" wide.

The 102 wide idea would be good, id hate to swap tires, a friend has 53's on his longbed with rockwells and its about a foot wider. It sucks to have to switch every time you wanna use it.

New centers are coming for sure.

The left joint is a 1410 for the tcase side of the driveshaft.
The right joint is a 1610 for the axle side of the driveshaft.

Was messing around with backspacing. Screwd no matter what way they are bolted on.

But, some guys run them this way because they are supposed to bite harder.

I've heard that before, but always thought it that were the truth, wouldn't that be the correct way to mount them???

I could see them "bitting" harder, but, it would seem that they wouldn't clean out as well either, at least with out a lot of wheel speed. Maybe on a high horsepower truck app they would or could work better that way, but, on a low wheel speed ag type app they would just clog easier
