'85 on big tars.(pics & video)

Any progress is good progress.

Agreed. It's lookin' pretty good. Really looking forward to getting the Dash in place now.

There are a few pieces for the interior that have not been built yet. Bolt in pieces that i'll need to send to Mrk5 to get wrapped and want to get after those as quickly as possible. The whole interior is pretty bare right now.

How about one little sneak peak.

Today we got a start on some plumbing connections. Always seems to be a pain in the gas.

This fitting adapted to that and yada yada.

We did however, manage to get the dash bolted in and that is looking really good.

Tacked a couple tabs on the front tube work for the forward facing lights. Couple 7" Hellas. Pretty radically changes the look of the front end. We held them up in several different locations, just not alot of options. We're kinda on the fence right now, the look is growing on us though.

Maybe Brett has a pic that he can post so you can see what we're debating.

I've only got a fuzzy pic with one headlight in place.

I was gona grab one today but forgot about. Walked past the front end a few times and its already lookin' standard equipment.

After putting it all together the front end seem to shorten itself by about 2 feet.

that drivers seat looks a bit uncomfortable..:thumb:

Triple color paint scheme?

And the grille looks better everytime I see it!

I love the front on this one  (and everything else for that matter)
Are you going to tie the cage together with the rollbar in the bed?
Or have you left it like that intentionally to allow for some frame flex?

It is at the rocker panels. Debated for a long time doing a tie in at the top somewhere.

Either way, frame is pretty solid. Cab and bed are all solid mounted.

Not much to update.

All the steel lines at the rear are connected. Need one more mount to the frame to put that to bed.

Water lines are all but finished. One short rubber transition and they're done.

Brett came up and we got the Driver's seat installed and did some work figuring out where his shifters would be most comfortable. Once those are mounted we can finalize the brake lines. He's got a cutting brake setup so we'll have to mount those in there with the shifters as well.

Steering wheel position was figured up so that can be finalized now.

List is getting very short now. Goal to be finished by the end of the year is gona be tough but still possible.

Is the crew cab next on the project list?
