85 Suburban. Back in the shop

The 63's aren't on it yet, but they are from a 2005 K2500. Hope to have them on soon. But I was going to leave the rubber bushings

As far as the 56's. I want to move another inch forward and use a zero rate to move the front axle back a little. 1.5 I think.

It's coming along good

Thought I would take a shot tonight, been dealing with a slight hangover all day and feeling a little out of it. Thanks combatmatt.

Here is the burban with its new shoes.

Thanks Matt and Geoff for the parts this weekend.
Picked up a gas tank skid plate from Matt and and a driver side batt box from Geoff this weekend.

Ok guys I want to name this thing. I just can't call it the burban because we already have one as a diary driver, and with a few cars it helps.

Also, I don't want to take someone else's name
I'm thinking

The Mexican

85'er

Bench

Short Bus

Rusty

Big one (kids idea)

Any thoughts?

Big one (kids idea) <------ Thats the one I'd do.

Any thoughts?

If you already have a littler one, it just seems to fit:waytogo:

I will keep the factory red, but where the tan I'll go white, and my rockers, bumpers and....future beadlocks will be red.

But paint is girl talk for now. Have some mechanical to do's 1st.

Sweet! That second pic, fockin slideways!!! Awesome. To me, when drifting, I always felt better with right turns. When drifting left turns I always felt a little uncomfortable looking to the right through the passenger window. Awesome pics though!!!!

yeah that was fig 8 practice and I couldnt keep traction with a DOT 255/60/15 on a 8in rim, sliding through each turn and smoking the tires

the 1st pic was with Late Model tires and 15x10 Nascar rims. it hooked like crazy, didnt need to lift through the turn....:woot:

Well no new news. Have been driving it as is for past few week as the daily driver. Got really busy with work and sicker than heck for a few days.

One the way home one day I just wanted to drove over stuff. So pulled in a nearby field.
Rear Fender timing will be soon. But the list never ends.

Yeah so my kids liked the name

BIG ONE.

I know there are way bigger burbans and trucks, but this one is bigger than my other burban and my kids liked it better than "THE MEXICAN" which was my favorite.

It's also big to them and their friends.

Front fenders might need a little too. Looks good though. When you get tired of those tires let me know :pimp:
