This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.

So I figured out why I have no heat in my Jimmy tonight, my buddy pointed out that my heater hoses are routed wrong...

At least you got it figured out now. I'm guessing they were to the wrong places on the engine so just no flow through the heater core.
Boom. Dead on. I had no idea. But it makes perfect sense.
Ok. I still have no idea. Why does the heater core care which direction the coolant flows?
It's not a question of which way it flows, but more about the fact that both hoses are hooked up to pressure therefore neutralizing the flow to zero.
