'86 Jimmy 4in Lift, 40’s, tons, 8.1 Swap- 700r4 said PNNNNN

This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.
Put some sandpaper around rough side in and grab that with the vice grips, might give you enough grip to do something.

We have had a few issued with smoked studs on a couple wheels. We used bolts as replacement for the time being that turned into permanent parts.

We used a washer and an upside down jeep lugnut.

Get these. Way better at grabbing round stuff than any pair of vise grips. Just gotta use them in the correct direction for the teeth to dig in. Knipex Cobra Pliers.

All cleaned up and ready for some intake gaskets.

Also swung by my brothers house to pull a spacer so my buddy can make me a couple.

Almost there...

Is that an ECM temp sender in the thermostat housing?
If so, can you drill and tap the intake in that little spot towards the passenger side of the thermostat?
3/8" pipe thread.
If you put it there, then it can read temps better as the thermostat being closed won't affect it.
