'86 Jimmy 4in Lift, 40’s, tons, 8.1 Swap- 700r4 said PNNNNN

This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.
So I apparently pissed the whole part with the spacers and new tires, looks badass! Gonna regear to 5:13s any time? Since your buddy has plan on th spacers what would 4 of them cost? those would be good for a dually conversion also I bet.

  1. Thank you. I like looking at the truck more now, but I'd really like to drive it.
  2. I would like 5:13's, but an econobox would fix the issue too lol.
  3. I'll ask him about what he would charge for a set. I'm thinking maybe the $250 range.
  4. Dually swap all the single wheels. Except my crew.

No test drive. Timing is way off but it at least stumbles now. Had to leave for tball. Won’t mess with it until this weekend most likely. #thatdadlife
Same here. Always cramming a week's worth of tinkering into one day and wonder why I never finish anything :dunno:

I also agree with no time. I was baling hay til 10:45 last night then at it again at 5 am this morning and an hour late to work then off to my wife's softball games tonight with the kids and a double shift tomorrow and then pick up hay bales fri...Holy Crap! No wonder I never get to work on my vehicles. Glad you got it running at least! Definitely a "face palm" moment LOL.

So much face palm.

So much face palm.

Face palm is a good thing. It means that the problem is simple. You could be tearing out the leaky radiator you just installed zero miles ago. :doah:

Redoing your own work sucks, but finding a connector you missed is nothing to lose sleep over.

True, and it helped you win our turtle race.
