'86 Jimmy 4in Lift, 40’s, tons, 8.1 Swap- 700r4 said PNNNNN

This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.
Depends on the tune also. His tune may have taken the “delay” out of the dbw. On my hemi I took the dbw lay out and it was like finding a whole shit ton of torque.

It is true that pre-tune and post-tune I felt a difference with the throttle too...it can be tuned

Not a big update, but I fixed a fuel leak tonight. It started dripping right after I got the top end back on the engine. New fuel line and tightened back up. Now just need to free up a Saturday so I can get this thing timed and running.

Glad to see an update! I’m hoping to make a tuttle creek run in 2019, would hate to not have a wheeling partner there!

We have a Tuttle Creek run planed for October, so I need it running in the next week or so. So the plan will be to keep it in running order through 2019 lol.

If I didn't already have a local run in October I'd be down! Gonna be a struggle to get mine ready by then anyways

With my injection pump going out on my 6.5 now, I will be pushed both time and financially to get my K5 done for this October run coming up.
