Eastbound and Down
Bump for some big block.
Meh, boats don't interest me much. But yay for a big block?Well the guy building my harness caught himself on fire a few weeks ago. Still has a lot of bandages on his hands and arms. He said he’s going to try and get back to work on it soon. That’s my luck.
But I am getting another big block...

It’s a whole new boat.Is it a big block for the boat, or a new boat?

Let me say this, I wish I would have gone a different direction with that build and beat up something a little rustier. No way
I love my truck MOAR now than when it was stock.![]()
I'm going back and labeling all my added on stuff and re-routing. I thought I could just remember what was what, but when I took the truck apart there was some head scratching as to what wire went where. So the lable maker came out and I started tagging circuits. It's not too late to clean up previous work that's for sure. The thing that was bothering me about mine lately is that I thought I had all the electrical add-ons figured out, but it seems like I've still ended up adding things on. Now I feel like I have wiring running everywhere and I'm not sure if I know what all of it is. Plus the other things I wish I had done differently.

Well oddly enough, I called the guy out on facebook and he is going to finish this wiring harness for me to pick up this weekend. Not real sure if I believe it, but might get lucky.
Small change of plans for a brief moment on this truck. I am going to be putting this together using the 700R4 for now. It's a good rebuilt unit that I trust 100%, and it means not messing with t-case or drive shafts at the moment. I'm going to get this thing running and driving for now unit my shop gets done. Then I'll tear back into it to possibly do a doubler and d-shafts.
Does anyone know what flex plate I need to use to bolt up the TC? The factory 8.1 holes are not lining up.
Say what? Never seen that combo before.
