I’ve just been driving it, not much to report. I’ve been kept busy fixing broken kid cars the past 3-4 weekends.
Here’s a pic from the top of a cool trail in the area.
I drove it up on a big berm at the local rifle range a couple weeks ago and it was way twisted up. I heard a fairly loud pop come from somewhere down below and clearly something broke loose. Pretty sure it is sheet metal. I crawled all around under there looking for the culprit but haven’t located it yet. There is a highly annoying loud tap tap tap every bump you hit with it. I’m hoping to track that down this weekend.

Yeah I flexed mine out just a little and now it sounds like my body mounts popping when I turn and flex the frame a little. Such is life with extra body mounts.
I’ll have to look close at those, definitely could be it. Thanks for the idea

Well my hydrobrake booster started leaking power steering fluid last week, my steering box has been leaking out of the input seal for a while and I wanted to upgrade to a disc disc master cylinder and install the adjustable proportional valve, that I bought a long time ago, for the rear brakes when I had to get into the brakes again.
I ordered a brake booster, a new steering box and a new master cylinder from advanceauto online with a 25% off coupon. Hoping to tackle all that stuff this weekend.

I had one from a ch46 I planned on putting in my rig. Along with a small panel door from a f14 I wanted to use for a fuel door.
As an initiation we had the new guys talk into the pee tube. Told them it was an intercom system lol!!!!
