Thank you to my photographer :waytogo: (my brother) who has also been a huge help on this build .

Well we have 2 weeks till the Rausch Creek trip and I'm going to be there if it kills me :D

Hopefully lots of progress by next week :pimp:

I'm heading down to the shop later today, hopefully start bending tube for the bed, finish the brakes (just need to hook up the discs and run the line down to the axle) and finalize fuel tank mounting design. My goal is a bed similar to the ORD UA truck from this year, fingers crossed :D.

Shocks are ordered and on the way, picking up some Ford towers for now, and still need to plumb the hydro assist.

More pics soon :waytogo:

Oh, it's all OD green now too, thanks to my brother :D it's looks :pimp: :woot:

Here's a few more pic's. Im getting to head down to the shop to help josh out in a couple hours. He was playing with the tubing bender yesterday so im sure ill have some more progress to document!

The bed is about 95% done (at least for now), still need to skin it and put a floor in, but the hard stuff is just about done. Need to get the shocks mounted and finish brake lines tomorrow, then a front driveshaft. If all goes well, it should be mostly wrapped up this week , fingers crossed :)

Pics to follow soon

On the dodge seats how did you fit them? Just cut the brackets to conform to the floor? Been thinking about a set of those for my 79 K20.

Basically yes :doah: it was PITA by the time it was done. I cut the factory lower frames and made plates bent to match the floor contours, welded them together and then the top frames with the sliders just bolt to the lowers like in a Dodge. It was a lot more work then I had expected and if you are a bigger person (over 6') the steering wheel and the amount of slide back could be an issue.

looks great Josh... :D

Thank you sir :D it's been a nice change from the K5 where I want everything perfect, it's been a long time since I rattle canned an exterior :woot: my OCD is showing a bit with the bed fab already though, I keep modding my plans :doah: :D

I wish I had the problem of being tall, I'm 5'10" so that won't be a concern I just want a more comfortable seat because of my chitty front springs.:doah:

Subscribed. Cool budget wheeler. Should be fun to wheel.

Thanks :) , the "budget " part, well that's not going quite as planned, but I'm trying ;)
