Speaking of............., Ben bought that CJ, should be here next week

Holy crap! That's awesome! I can't wait to see it. So we still going to Rausch 2nd or 3rd weekend of November. Maybe he will come too. I need to get a trailer:dunno:

Oh, and a pic of Sarge at "trunk or treat" at Jacob's school last Saturday:D

Great picture, the girls love it and Sydney said" did Caroline throw up in uncle Josh's truck too?"

For the record, that Ford Expdetion parked next to you is pretty sweet, perhaps it was the coolest vehicle there:dunno:

I will add some better installed pics, and sensor locations etc when I clean up the un-needed wiring and install headers.

I too would like to hear more of this AFI setup. The kit seems to be one of the most affordable ones I've seen. I may consider this route also - and headers too since I need to replace my old rotting exhuast system anyways.
Is your 454 mostly stock/rebuilt?

There has been a couple others that have a AFI kit. I know avery did one to in his build and was really happy with it.

Mine is pretty much stock, it was kind of an odd ball as it had egr but no cats and factory dual exhaust and 2 smog pumps :dunno:

AFI can set up a system to match whatever you've got done (with in reason ) they offer kits for up to 502ci applications. I will honestly say that the truck has never run as well as it does now, I moved it last night and hadn't driven it since last Saturday. ......it was so nice to just hit the key and have it fire right up:D

Yep, he is very happy with his kit, I'm glad I took his recommendation as I am now super happy with MY kit :waytogo:

Good to hear several positive responses. I'm really going to look into it now. My Quadrajets have served me well for over 25yrs, but one can't deny FI advantages.

It really did make a huge difference for me, one the really nice things about AFI's kit is that it is basically all factory stuff.....all the sensors, and electronics are all easily found at any parts store. Thier harness makes the swap soo easy too, other then welding in the O2 bung everthing is plug and play. Only thing I would do different is that I would land most likely will do, is just run a stock TBI K5 fuel tank (in tank pump).

I was just about to order a kit from AFI too, until I bought my donor 89 wrecked K5 that I pulled everything from (motor, tranny that was rebuilt 7000 miles ago, TBI tank, TBI fuel lines...everything) for $900. But by far AFI is the best deal on the market. I even called them a few times to pick their brains on some stuff, and they seemed like good guys. No doubt, I would tell anyone to look at those guys and purchase their products. Glad to hear that your rig is doing good. I can't wait to get my TBI done :waytogo:
