Ya, dont know if the windshield could come out but I'll deal with that when need be....I've already found with wheeling this thing that top top edge of the cab likes to jump out and rub trees and rip off the rain gutter ...so the bar location should help and also take any tree branch shots before the windshield. I didn't want any added width so that was the driving decision to come up behind the fenders...plus if I decide to narrow the nose at any point with this design I will not have to change anything.

Aside from a few other smaller fab projects I have in my head and a doubler. ..im almost "done" with this build....everything works like I had hoped and the truck has and does anything I ask of it........hmmm.....maybe I can start thinking about the Cummins K5 again

I think you'll be able to slide a new windshield in behind the bars and as far as getting one out. It's probably coming out in pieces. I think it looks really good the way you ran those bars. It's a great looking and very functional truck. Nice job

Thanks everyone ....its always cool and means a lot to get compliments from fellow CK5 guys and from those who's builds have inspired me along the way

I will get some better pics once I wrap it up this week and get it outside.....and on that note ive got to find time somewhere to come up with some sort of quick install pedal extensions....so a certain 7 yr old can reach them better because a certain dad told him he could try driving it again on the next trip, which happens to be this weekend

Never seen an "exo" cage of any kind that I liked until now. Excellent job

Also like what you did to the cab corners with the welded on armor. I considered doing it on the last truck I built for wheeling but was afraid of how it would come out. Looks good though.
