87 K5 Build...Hmmm, whats that Ryoken up to? stay tuned...

:eek1: :bow: :haha::haha:

Hey Paul, I could use a 7 quart road racing pan for my Vette? any interest?

at some point brother, at some point... :D

honestly, I'm all f*cked up in the head over anything like that right now.........this time next year, yah, I'm more than likely gonna be doing stuff, dashes, etc. right now, i'm just tryng to slaughter myself for my new bosses....

my old crew is desperately hurting right now, and that just makes how well my new gig is, that much more painful... man, I shoulda been there in the end..... :(

as "real world" retarded as that may sound to many..... :wink1:

my crew wrote a letter this weekend to corporate about how I shoulda been in charge, not the guy I thought was in our brotherhood, my friend, my supervisor.. man, when I'm wrong, man, am I wrong... :( I put my trust in someone who apparently did'nt deserve it....

anyway.... my apologies... I know everyones got there own BS, mine is less important than most..... not much gets to me, but f*ck with my shop, and all bets are off......:doah::doah::crazy::bow::haha:

and ummmm, ordering back cage, back bumper/stinger tube next week.... :saweet:

eh, my bad guys..... I shouldn't be dumping that cr*p out here, I'll try to refrain....

Eh, we understand Paul. Sucks that you are dealing with it, but we aren't afraid to listen.

And get the stuff ordered and get back to work, it will help keep you distracted a bit.

always some perspective for me....

i'm psyched for the truck right now... gonna start hauling some nice paychecks soon, which means badarse parts to get her going again..

hopefully by next sunday I'll have the floor in, cage mounted, and the tunnel mostly fabbed..

That's it, keep a goal in mind and shoot for it. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see this thing back on the road.

Never a need to apologize for that Paul. I like to think the bro'hood here isn't so shallow as to only want pic whoring in a build thread.

I spent about an hour and a half trying to get caught up on your build thread earlier this afternoon. Very impressive! The cage is coming along very nicely. Seeing you go through the dash corners gave me flashbacks... :p: :haha:

Keep up the outstanding work!!! :waytogo:

I have a canton and am very happy with it, reasonably priced also

Where do you road race?

/hi-jack off

Hey Paul, speaking of your back cage. That place at Collingswood circle is brand new. If you need me to pick up anything for me, let me know.

I may take a ride up there next weekend, to check em out.... could you run some 10' sections down to my dungeon in the Tahoe if i want to get a few sticks from em? the NoGo doesn't haul too well.... :wink1:

please call me when you do that fan rewire too, I'll come by on a sat or sun....

f#ck, I just realized I need to run out to Trenton at some point soon and get some composite for the overhead and floor consoles, door panels, divider wall and rear side panels too.... :doah:

thats gonna be 2 4' x 8' sheets at least... thats gonna run me $300, 350.... actually, he owes me a favor or 2, maybe I'll get him to deliver it at his convenience...

Not too sure ill get the blazer this weekend, but definitely the next. Just let me know when you order the pieces and i can pick em up. I saw that one diagram you had posted a while back, but it ahad a 3rd relay for the high speed on the one fan. Do i need to run it that way?

nah, we'll just rewire what you had.... just get some supplies... waytek or delcity are good.... either the gxl or sxl wire are good choices.... some quality ends too, female spades, etc....

dude, your abilities blow me away! Ive been on vacation and just read the last 5 or 6 pages of this thread. sorry to hear about the personal stuff.

Paul, maybe the shop your at now, will increase in business, due to the other shop fooking things up, and maybe you can pull some of your old crew over to take on the load....this could be a great situation for all of you. Keep that in mind. Word of mouth is the best advertising.

I haven't in years but when I did it was only once at the Gingerman raceway in SW MI, and at the old GM plant parking lot here in Kzoo....low speed autocross (<90mph) in the NCCC MI region.
Mostly I would like the pan for spirited street driving, and a little extra capacity, as it seems I had some possible lack of oil problems recently.

heck, he had already lured 20+ boats away before I quit.... :haha:

yup, thats a weird one.. great thought.... there's 3 people I would bring in.. prob is, 2 of em, wouldn't be in much demand in this yard.... my girl mechanic would be perfect, but it's about an hr and 20 minute ride for her... we'll see what happens...... :D

hey Paul, i just ordered some prewired(not necessary for you, i know:D) LED lighting for my dash lights/etc. from Oznium.com . Great quality and good prices, you might check em out and see if they have something you can use.

more "not so sexy, need to do" stuff.... cab support hump done....... back to the floor now..... the hump is what the back of the tunnel will be attached to.....
