About time you got time to get back to work on her.:haha: At least a few minutes, I am sure there are still plenty of boats stacked up waiting on your expertise.

1st things 1st... Great update. I find myself checking this thread often. You are doing some fine work.

2nd thing... The guy down the block must need a ladder to get in that thing. Have you seen it run, or is it a yard ornament?

thanks... :D

I've never talked to the guy.... he does trailer it out at least a few times a year.... I'm sure he's down in the Piney's running thru the deep muck/water holes...

haven't really looked at it, I'm sure it's quite the "bone-jarring" ride to say the least... he took the ton's out of it to do the rocks a few yrs back, now the tons are under an S-10 Blazer... :pimp:

Dam Paul, the filter setups came out looking absolutely killer!

Holy filters!!! Looks sweet, what are they all for though may I ask... I can see filters for the engine and tranny but why 4..?

thanks Dave... it is the picture I had in my brain... not only will it be highly functional and servicable, but I think it's gonna look pretty sick..

what do you think of the choice of fittings?

I'm thinking the alternating black/silver theme might look good.. black filter, silver housing, black fitting, steelbraided, etc, etc....

you must be OCD because all the labels are facing the same direction :screwy:

:haha:

funny thing is, it just worked out that way.... :doah: they're all not perfect to the back, but surprisingly good..

I know at some point a batch will end up goofy probably.. as long as the filters are black, I'm good with it...

it'll be nice to just get a couple cases of the same filter to keep in the garage/rig...

Like you've said...can't go wrong with Earls.
I thought about the Pushloks but the clamp pliers are like $60???

we run pushlock stuff on the boats fairly frequently... I always try to use reusable swivel-seal ends of some sort on my personal stuff.. a fitting for a lifetime.. it'll be the first time I've run black ones tho...

nope..... :(

still not motivated to do anything when I get home from the torture pit of floating nightmares, other than curl in a ball and twitch, or possibly kill a few Nazi Zombies......

maybe if I buy some more toys?

The pushlocks suck! You don't need the pliers unless it's over 200 psi or something, no clamp needed. But just getting the things put on there is a total PITA. I used them for my EFI fuel lines, and I will never use them again. Standard AN fittings are actually easier to use. I did like the black fiber braided line though.
