'87 V20 Build

Bought this truck on new years day. Been looking around here and there for something cheap to pop up and saw this. It's pretty rough, so I'm having a hard time trying to like it after the K10.

According do the stupid kid that had it before me that "was gunna turn it into a mud truck". Someone before him broke the rear axle that must've been a 14 bolt semi floater I'm guessing. So now it has a 3:42 10 bolt up front and a 4:10 14BFF in the rear, allegedly.

The only reason I bought this particular truck is cause it's a 4 speed with a factory hydro clutch and it was cheap. I still hate carburetors.

1985 K20 Scottsdale
350 carb :(
SM465 Hydro clutch :)
3:42 front 10 bolt
4:10 14bff
208
Rusty
Factory A/C

It was a mess inside and out when I got it.

Took it to work and put some hub caps on it.

Took the running boards and rear bumper off. Then put my CUCV grille guard on for shits and gigs.

Then took it to my buddy's work to power wash all the gray primer off. Looks a little better.

I have a friend that offered to buy it. May sell it, I don't know yet. If I do I will get something else.

My plans if I keep it:
Spool
Welded front
4" front springs
Shackle flip
Tires
Single stage desert tan
Have fun

Always liked the brown/tan two tone. Nice score on the hydro 465 that happens to be surrounded by a running driving truck

Should be able to plant one tire, spin the other (off the ground) and count the driveshaft revolutions.

can someone explain this statement to me? What is the meaning behind eleventy? Why does everyone say this?

It is a fictitious number representing a LOT. So, looks a LOT better.

No I get that. Let me rephrase. Why do people say it on this forum? Never heard it anywhere else.

I guess it's a little more widespread than you think. I'm on a guitar forum, and have heard it before.

It's a thing. lol.
