Went to a local pasture type area to do some wheeling yesterday. Broke something about 20 minutes in. Stub or lockout or both. Need to take it apart. Front end will get locked or welded during the repair as well.

That’s why you don’t listen to your friends when they say “hammer it” lol. But I agree with @sreidmx it will go where you point it with the front diff locked! I’m not totally against welding the front diff but if you do weld it you are really going to hate it without ram assist. My crawler is welded in the front and it’s awesome but it would suck without it. Throw a spartan locker or something in it if you can. Just my opinion.

Even a non selectable locker can be a PITA without assist.
Have you added hydraulic assist yet? I don’t remember.

Not yet. That will probably be the next purchase after fixing/locking the front.
Yeah I had a lockright in the K10 and it didn’t turn worth a shit.
Yeah they still aren’t very forgiving huh...
I welded my front and did assist at the same time. I didn't notice much of a difference other than the front tends to "plow" around tight corners.
