It will not last. I am one to use cheap stuff but they sell fuel hose because it will not last. My AC was full of shit too. I took it apart and washed/soaked it all in bleach.

If you have a better idea I'm all ears. I don't think they have fuel hose that bends like that.

What I meant was I'm going to take the hvac apart, clean it, and put it back.

Build a filler with exhaust pipe and a short piece of hose.

I plan to build something that works a little better. This is temporary so I can fill it. It's definitely not ideal.

I would just hate to have it swell, burst and kill me some how. Well or you either.

I also have my fillers in my (step-side) fenders, and I simply cut the fuel line and clamped it onto a 45* copper pipe fitting of the appropriate size. Quick, simple, done. You may need a 90* for that turn, but it shouldn't be hard to get fuel-rated hose to work.

Exhaust piping isn't a bad idea either.

I pulled out the hvac box last night. As I suspected, full of mice piss and poo. I am going to get a new heater core probably and might need a new blower motor just cause I want to get rid of as much of the mice smell as possible.

This was originally a non a/c truck and I don't have the time or money to spend on making the a/c work right now or anytime soon. So what should I do? Cheapest and easiest route? Do I need to get a firewall plate from a non a/c truck?

I need to figure this out too.

I have an AC cab but only want heat but my setup is different looking than yours

Just slap a standard heater box on there till you get around to fixing the AC.
