Put the interior somewhat together so parts don't fall off at Tuttle. Also got my cb mounted.

I didn't like the rake the truck had, so I cut the rear shackles from 6" to 4.5". I'mhappy with it.

Think i might put my cb in the same spot. Let me know how you like it there

I've got the parts to do a fixed one, guess i need to plan

Glad to see the CB. Last time Ebke had to dust his off. Mine is mounted in the same spot and has been for years. Never one issue with that location.

In my last truck I had it mounted there, but it never really seemed loud enough to hear while driving. I bought an external speaker (and a pa speaker for the front end) so it was quite loud and clear.
I just have a magnet one I stick to the roof. I've broken a couple of the fixed ones at Tuttle.
I had a magnet mount for a while but on tighter trails with trees it would get knocked loose and do the swing into the window and hit my wife in the face. Eventually bought a spring base for a stick antenna. Stiff enough where it didn't flop around like a wire whip, but would bend far enough over to not break off on a tree.

I had a spring base too with a wire and it didn't rip off.. The magnet in mind was toast anyway

I just carry a Cobra hand held with me on the club runs, it's worked fine so far, and I just keep it in the house the rest of the time.
