88 S10 Blazer Build (Body swap)

Nice man ;) I'm really happy about the winch you sold me. I got all the time in the world this weekend to mess with it. Now to just put down the wallet and stay away from the liquor store i could get it ready to mount up once i get a bumper mount. :D

Never asked but what did ya end up giving for that one?? Just curious

Well i finally made some progress on the front bumper.

Ok all. I havent made much progress on this lately. I did how how ever swap out the stock gauge cluster for one out of a 95 Astro van. It took some cutting and wiring to make work. But i think it looks pretty good.

Ok. I finally made some progress. Got the Ecm all hooked up. Messed up and ordered the wrong terimals for the injectors, so I still need to do that. Still have to finish the fuel lines. I did have it started. Only ran for a sec. Had to spray gas in the throttle body. The motor sounded pretty good. Hope to have it done by the end of July.

Ok all. I finally got the beast to start and idle. Even moved it from the spot its called home for the past 2 years. Will have a short vid up in awhile.

Ok. Been driving this around a little bit the past few days. snapped the pinion yoke off the old rearend. So i went and picked up a Dana 44 from an Isuzu Rodeo. It has factory disk brakes, a trac-loc posi, and 4.30 gears. The gears and posi are nice. Still need to get the ECM tuned. It runs good now , but it idles kinda high. Will try to get a video up sometime.

I've been told that the Isuzu Rodeo frame & running gear is identical to the s10 blazer, is it true? did the rear Isuzu Rodeo axle bolt right in the rear of your s10? i have a buddy w/an Isuzu Rodeo that has a busted rear end, if a s10 blazer rear end will bolt right in, it will make finding a rear axle alot easier.

btw, that's 1 really nice build you have there!

Don't remember if the width was right or not. I had to move mine to do a spring over instead of spring under. If your buddy wants to sell his busted rear I'd be interested. I really just need the gears and carrier.
