88 S10 Blazer Build (Body swap)

Huuummmmm I have a S10 Blazer and a 77 Blazer. Only difference is mine is a Automatic. Will a Auto fit under there? Or is it to long?

Well i have some bad news. The motor decide it wanted to come apart, so its currently waiting for a new one. Hope to start on one soon. Want to drive my baby by winter time.

made some progress. My girlfriend got me some shackles for christmas. Then i had Kert make me up some shackle mounts. Done some trading with Kert to get the traction bar brackets and bushings. Heres a few pics.

I like it when solid axles find their way under the little Blazers.

This was my 89 with D30/D35, Toyota 4" front springs under and stock S-10 rear springs over, 33s on stock steelies, 1.5" wheel spacers.

A little update. Decided to change the front suspension around. Figured it is easier while the motor and tranny were out. Running fullsize Dodge rear springs. This allows to have the shackle mounted inside the frame. had to notch the driver side frame rail a little bit. Also going to change the gears in the front end to match the rear while it is out. Still need to go get the other spring.

Got my tranny last week. Had to modify the crossmember and rework the tranny tunnel for the shifter. Ordered some new bushings for my springs this morning. be a couple weeks before I get them, as they was special order.

Wow it's been awhile since I updated this. I haven't given up on it. Got the front suspension all back in. Made new upper shock mounts. Built a new engine crossmember and new motor mounts. changed the yoke on the rearend to one that uses u-bolts to hold the joint in.

Only thing slowing progress at the moment is headers. Trying to find a set of long tubes that will clear. Dont want to run the shorty S-10 headers.

Would post pics if I had a camera. Been trying to find another one. Maybe soon.
