Well I figured a little update was in order. Havent really made much progress.I did decide i was going to udapte to a newer model ecm. Gona be using one from a vortec 96-97 vortec truck. Just got to finish makin the wiring harness. Other than that havent had the extra cash to get much done. Had to fight with the ex to get the title to it.
 
Looks good with 35's on it! Probably gonna have to trim some sheetmetal to wheel it with those huh?

Ya it does look good with 35s. I think im gona run some 35-14.50s. Dont wana trim any metal. Been tryin to find a used set of 2 in tuff country ez rides for the front so when i put a winch on it dont sag in the front.
 
Looks good Brian...nice and neat! Had to be tough, seems like it's a pretty tight fit in there!

Have you fired it up yet?

ya it makes it kinda rough bein so tight. No i havent fired it up yet. Im hopeing to sometime this month though. I ordered some more wire to finish up the wiring harness. Im lookin to try and have it done by March or so.
 
Should be able to liquify those 35's at will....hopefully the diff's can stand the punishment! :p:

Looks decent, but technically that's not a "cold air" intake...it's a "hot underhood air" intake. Ideally the cone filter should locate in a box fed with cold outside air and sealed up from the hotter and less dense underhood air.

2.72's bring the ghey with 33's too. That's what my K5 had when I first bought it. I had to use granny gear just to get it moving, and attempt to start in '1' created brutal clutch chatter.

Ya i still havent figured out how to fit a box in the tight corner. Ya the gears in the axles is why i threw the auto in the junk pile and went with the 465.
