Thanks everyone! I also want to thank everyone that took the time to write a little note for me when I was in the hospital. That really helped because that first day sucked, and I was super pissed about the whole process. Reading what everyone wrote about/ for me, really turned my day around. After christmas I'll be starting to dive back into this thing. I have a huge list of stuff to buy so I'll get going on that after christmas, I should be able to finish by march/ april. I want to use it all summer again, and not spend the summer in the shop. I'm gonna buy my wife a JK for me beating cancer, but that shouldn't be a build just a driver/ maintenance type thing. So If I don't finish it wouldn't be the end of the world as we will still have a fun summer vehicle. This cancer thing was harder on her then me honestly. I couldn't have beat it without her so its the least I can do. Already looking forward to the upcoming year, it should be an excellent year.

Sorry guys haven’t been on here much. Work has been super busy and I have started to refinish my basement. Anyways now that the cancer stuff is out of the way I’m starting to feel like myself again. I have ordered a bunch of things to get the ls swap going. Parts have been rolling in and it’s getting me pumped to get out to the shop. To anyone who says they can ls swap one of these trucks for under a grand is on crack. All the little things add up.fast. I have about 700 into just the fuel system. Granted that is all new parts and all AN line. So hopefully I’ll have some updates soon.

I think when they say you can do the swap for under a grand they mean just the physical engine swap. Not actually get it running.

So I did finish the ls swap, installed 5.38’s and have been driving it and having fun. I took a hiatus from this place due to life, life is still very busy but a blast. Might throw a ss2 cam and some pac 1218’s at it this winter. That or build another ls for fun.

I really dig all aspects of this truck: the blue paint/gray cage combo, the suspension, the full 'vert, the drivetrain. Well done!

Every time I see this thing I just love that color blue. I would probably paint all my trucks that color or maybe two tone it with silver. Glad you are having fun using it!

Yeah, I loved the HUD display as well. What were you using to record with that?

If you want some help getting some more power out of that let me know Jess, it's easy and I can likely save you some money.
