Got the modifications done to axle panhard. Think my regulator may be broken or I have bad gas. Lots of oxide dust around the welds. Welds still look decent though. May turn it up tomorrow and see what happens.

Everything clear finally!!! I have a paper width at full lock full droop, but I'll take it. Oh and metal links on one side atleast! No more pvc @ktmoutfront

Links are all metal, have to make a slight bracket clearance. Tube bender is mounted to welding cart. Have to throw the column and hydroboost in and start bending shock hoops.
Easiest / cheapest way to brace the steering box is with another frame section.
Cut it out with plasma/ grinder.
Then stitch weld and rossete weld it in.
I'll have to make a small bridge piece to the other plate but oh well. My fault for not grabbing enough of the frame.

Nice! I got two front frame sections saved for that exact same reason.
Driverside plated, passenger should be easier as there is way less stuff in the way.
What thickness did you go with? Any reason you didn't double weld the hoops and plate up to them?

Got the lower shock mount done on the driver side. Don't know why but it took me 3 tries to get it right. Oh well the tuition pile grows.

Driver side done. Went a little overboard on the upper mount. It's all 1/4"
Since your in there I'd run a brace from the top of the frame to the shock hoop. I realize your gonna run a crossbar too but I know this truck will see air too
Yah i guess I should say done is a relative term. I have enough tube for the hoops and the crossbar. Need to finish chopping up the k5 tub that's on my trailer and go and get more tube.

Well have to change both the lower mounts. Coil carrier hits. So I'll go up an inch and everything should clear. Glad everything is just tacked in.
Lowers fixed. Can get to 30 degrees before it hits. A little grinding of the panhard bracket should get 45 to 50. Should be plenty with my little 12" travel shocks
You have way more patience than I do.
I wouldn't call it patience. More like extreme motivation. That and making brackets with the plasma takes about 15 minutes. The plasma is the best tool purchase I have ever made.
