No big updates but I need to get my butt in gear. Dunefest is coming up fast. Got the perches burned in and got most the old crap cut off. Will hopefully be mounting shocks, and determining bump travel tonight.

Build two sets of boxes to close those shock mounts in and send me the other set. I have been lazy and just been running mine with cardboard and old blanket to keep the dust and stuff out of the cab. LOL

You adding air bumps and better shocks?
Just really the bumps. I had to torch off the shock tabs due to the fact that I cut and turned the diff, and lost the zero rate. The rear will have the same 12" 2.5 ADS shocks, plus air bumps. The front just needs air bumps put in.
Should be pretty easy to mount these. Just need 1.25” spacer, and Deuling’s shock mounts to show up. I’ll hopefully have the rear done this weekend, and I can start in the front bump mounts.
Bumps and shocks mounted. Tomorrow I have to put the spring packs back together, shorten the driveshaft, then start on the front. I am out of 3/16, so all material was 1/4. I boxed the shock mounts then mounted the bumps. Put a tube between both cans as well.
Not a lot done today. I cleaned the shop a little, then made it dirty again. I attempted to make a driveshaft but forgot the driveshaft is at its longest at bump , not droop in the rear. So driveshaft attempt number two tomorrow. Good news is I have plenary of angle and no bind, but was not happy with only 2” of spline engagement at full bump. I did get the packs back together, and u bolt plates cut down so you can actually get a wrench on them. Then I welded in the bump pads. Back at it tomorrow morning before the Wife and kids return.

Drive shaft made, and it’s decent. 1degree off on phasing the yokes. Hopefully that’s okay. Got the correct length and it looks nice and straight. We shall see when I take it for a spin but it has to be better than what it was before.

Shaft installed, and brake lines put in. Gotta swap a steering column in then I get to take a break and work on my buddies wagon. Be nice to just replace parts rather than fabricate.

Yeah track bar brackets are still on there from green thing. I have the track bar too, just need to cut it down and throw a new heim on it. The wagon is getting a locker in the rear, new exhaust gaskets, and all new front end parts( Tre's and Ball joints) .
No more battery ejections now.. got the brakes bled and it moved to the house garage. My dmax will have to sleep outside(poor thing).
Where'd you get that sweet battery bracket??
