@jekquistk5 pics of upper shock mounts? I am sorta stuck on what to do back there for mine. The rear is moved quite a ways back, and there isn't a ton of room in between the spring plate and drum. I was thinking tall mounts on the tube, but unsure about the upper mounts.

Thanks Heath! I know it’s not pretty with dimples, but it’s not a race truck so I’m fine with the simple functionality of it. I pick up my nitrogen tank on Monday then I can fill the shocks and bumps and start testing.

Also if anyone is looking for a no loss shock tool kit hit up baja mike on instagram. 65 shipped to my door.

Yup link the rear. Probably in a few years. Need to use this thing first. Long builds do not make sense to me.

I now do not have to rely on others to charge my shocks. 20cuft tank with Harris regulator. Need to change the hose to higher psi rating but for 100 bucks for a full tank with Harris regulator I couldn’t beat it

Got my 40 dollar tires mounted. Sitting back on 35’s. Still need to mount the spare. Bump spacers in.

Finished up a bunch of little things and started taking her for little shakedowns. Hit the front ditch of my house at 25-30. This is gonna be a fun truck. Turns out I need a new alternator and a few little things but all in all feel real good about the truck.

Front driveshaft rebuilt, clearanced the cv and I have tons of room. Now I need to grind the yoke a little on axle and I’ll be all set.

Got the anti wrap bar thrown on. Just a little adjustment was needed. Got most of the wiring sorted out. I now have a gas gauge which is a plus, and working turn signals and wipers. I did break my tach in the process though.

Been fixing the little things but she is ready to hit the dunes. Just need to pack tools, load on trailer and head out. Dunes in 3 days!

We’ll beat on it at the dunes. It still has a long way to go, but man am I happy. I can keep up with dueling which is all I wanted for this thing, but it has way more potential. At the end of the week I drove it on to the trailer with no real carnage except it wouldn’t go into park. The bushing on the frame let loose and was causing the linkage to go caddy wampus. Manually put it in park and called it good. I really need a cage, seats and shock tuning. I called ads, and my shocks have the standard 12/15 pyramid style valving. So I will up the medium and high speed to .020 instead of .015. That should help the g outs, but getting a cage an nice seats in first.

If you listen at the end you can hear how pumped we were. I can honestly say this was the most fun dune trip I have had!
