89 k5 Trazer build "The Dirty Girl" *Tubed front/taper, full hydro steer*

I believe so, but it just wasn't enforced as much. The tire rule is new, it replaces the wheelbase limit they had. I think a shortbed was just about the longest thing you could bring in there

Tire Rule isn't new. It just wasn't posted on the website before. They have always had it . Since the park opened. Many People knew about that before it just wasn't posted.

The Decibal thing is more because of the quads than trucks. But Steve the owner wants things to be kept up , and Says it already is alot of work keeping the place open as is.

Thanks! That really means alot

Unfortunatly no real updates except I was at a Drag racing expo a few weeks ago and bought two brand new shock abosorbers that I am going to swap to the rear of the truck. They were Rancho adjustables with Remote reserviors, I forgot the part number but I paid $100 for the pair and when I looked them up online they were going for $216 each!! A little overkill for my application but I couldnt pass up that deal

Awesome trazer.I just read all 59 pages. You did a great job.I am doing a bunch of the same stuff to my k5 and when my blazer body is totally covered in dents I plan on making it a trazer too.I will probably use a bunch of your ideas if that's alright.Any new updates or pics?I can't wait to hear how it does it's first trip out.

Thanks for the compliments! Its going on a trip in a few weeks, so I will be sure to post up some pics. Ordered the triple stick shifter today and should have it in aboutt two weeks.

Sweet build! Great compilation of ideas and craftmanship. It's awesome that you and your brother can work on stuff together like that. We are in our 40's now and have been getting along for about 15 of them. As kids, we just kicked the sheets out of each other. Now we are all pretty close, all 5 of us. One is a sister. Back to your build, sweet! Like some others, I hope you don't mind me adopting some of your ideas. I don't have the abilities, or the money you spent, but hopefully my Blazer can be made a little more capable than originally planned.

Thanks again for the 2 days of reading and ideas. Good luck running it. I'm jealous, I got another year or so to work on mine!

Thanks bud, I got no problem with anybody using ideas from my rig, thats the point of CK5. To share information and ideas with fellow truck lovers. I got two more weekends till the fourwheeling trip, so hopefully everything goes well. My NWF triple cable shifters should hopefully be here by this weekend, then I can install em and test everything out 1 more time

Got to have some fun with a piece of $hit jeep over the weekend

Ryan,

from conception to reality...what an Awesome"trazer" you have built!!!!

I loved this thread and just like so many other K5 members you are an inspiration to all us beginners...

BTW...that heap didnt stand a chance

Haha, thanks bigblaze. For anyone wondering, I haven't touched this thing in awhile. I'm still waiting for the missing parts of my NWF triple cable shifters to arrive. Once I get that I will install the triple shifters and clean-up/paint the center console. There's a trail ride planned this july and a 4x4 get-together with mud bog and truck pulls this august (I plan on entering both of those events :D ) I am also thinking of taking it to the 4x4 jamboree nationals in Indianapolis Indiana this september

If you go to the jamboree, let me know. I will look for you. We go almost every year.
