Looks good man, I cant wait to get my b-52 hung with the 60 under it.. also the seats that you are using, are they from summit? How comfortable are they? I was looking at getting some like that but i was sure if they would be comfy..
Yes, they are from summit. They are not mounted yet, but I sat in them and they were more comfortable than I though they were going to be. But I am still going to add a little foam padding to them

looks good. lucky SOB with the B52s, takes all the guess work out. lol. about the seats, i haven't really heard any bad things about the Summit seats, usually people just add more padding to make 'em more comfortable. probably the kind i'll run in my rig.

Yea they were pretty easy to mount. I got the correct U-bolts and the dana 60 is bolted in.

Also, I finally remembered to get a pic of the paint I am using on the body and on some of my brackets:

Next I have to find some lugnuts and put on some wheels/tires. Then I have to bring the 14bff in the garage and start tearing it apart. It will: recieve new brakes, seals, shave the bottom lip off, HD diff cover, U-bolt style yoke, 5.13 gears, and welded spider gears

Well I put on some rollers and the truck is off the jack stands:laugh:

Here's the front shackle angle

And here's a cooler I got off a dodge caravan. Im going to use it to cool my power steering fluid

I was cleaning up at work and was about to throw out an old trailblazer emblem leftover from a customer's vehicle and then a thought came to me. So I modified it a little, what do you think?

my rig's a cross between a truck and a blazer so I like the name.

Also this weekend I will be starting on rebuilding the 14 bolt

Nice work on the emblem, Ryan. I planned on something similar for when I put my short cap on it. Mind if I steal your idea?

Yeah, me likey. :D Where you planning on mounting it?
Thanks for the compliments guys, I might mount it on the fender, like where the original emblem would have been.

And yes Ben you can steal my idea

I came home for lunch and this was waiting on the doorstep!

I will paint it later this week or next week

muddermilitia,

After doing the B52 swap, did it move your axle at all? I'm going to be doing the same thing in the future, but wouldn't like to move the axle very much. BTW, the build up is looking good, keep up the good work!

Thanks. And yes I did move it forward. When swapping to 52" springs you will move your axle 2-2.5" forward depending on your location of the mounts
