'89 R3500 Crew Cab 2wd to 4wd conversion & beyond

Started out with 2wd TBI350 with SM465 to current 4wd with 454, 700r4, NP241
@mrk5 If you're on Facebook there's a guy in the Hardcore Chevy K-Trucks group that has Holley efi with a 4l80e. I can add you to the group
I feel like I made windshield banners for that group.

I would be interested. It's possible he's running one of the upscale Holley EFI like the Terminator or Dominator because those units have an ECU that will control electronic transmissions.

You probably did, Lefthand here is a prominent member there too. I'm sorry but I don't know your last name, if you'll shoot it to me I'll add you and then message Mike to approve you.

i knew that color was coming for it . . . . :whistle::surepal::dunno:

and holley told me no problem with usshift and that exact pigtail . also usshift said the same for them to holley .

if its a feedback problem maybe we just need to add in a specific size diode to block any return/back feed . ?

That's encouraging news. Maybe the instructions say not to do it to avoid people doing sketchy splices. I'm thinking I can try the pigtail first and hopefully it'll work just fine.

Now that you've got a good basecoat on the Tcase it would be a shame not to finish it. I think it would make everyone happy!

told my fine just no cut / splice or solder . 20bucks for plug-n-play pig tail is better I think .

Do you ever have what you think is a good idea only to realize after it's all said and done it was way more complicated than it needed to be?

I thought I would be clever with a fluid level sight tube and use AN fittings so I could more easily drain the case.

I did the bottom NPT to AN fitting with the elbow first. Then after those 2pcs arrived I thought "You know in order for this to work best I should do the same concept at the top of the sight tube." Looking back now, I think I got a little carried away but it will work anyway.

I installed the bracket for the JB Custom Fab shifters to finish up the work on the rear of the case.

Just have 1 more thing to do before bolting on the Magnum Box.
