'89 R3500 Crew Cab 2wd to 4wd conversion & beyond

Started out with 2wd TBI350 with SM465 to current 4wd with 454, 700r4, NP241
I run 12psi in the front @mrk5 and 10psi in the rear. Similar weight, same tires and no beadlocks.

Thats what I would run on my truck without beadlocks... although I am probably a lot less weight than you guys. With my beadlocks I run like 6-8 now and man what a difference that makes.

It looks like on chewy I was a lot further over to the DS than you. Also, curious on how your line compares to mine on down 'n dirty.

Of course this is as far as I've ever gotten lol, so can't compare anything else.
It's hard to say for sure from your video but most of us struggled to get our rears onto the rocks and kept digging out in the dirt. In your video it looks like there is a big ass rock you just drove up on to get the rear up that certainly was not there for us? Unless I'm seeing things or remembering things wrong.

It's not shown in the video, but I started at the same spot you were initially and couldn't get up the ledge. That big rock was way off to the drivers side so I moved over onto it and it worked pretty well. As I recall though, it got me kinda sideways on the middle section and I had to walk the rear back over onto the main line in order to get up the 2nd ledge.

It would be interesting to see if any of you have some wider angle pics that show where that rock is now.

Not a ton of great views of it

You are correct

The rock I went up is at the yellow arrow, but I had to get sideways to avoid the ledge at the green arrow. Once I turned back straight the back tires got stuck on the ledge so I had to walk it over to the right to get around it.

As for Down n Dirty in @ashman's video, a lot of that dirt is gone now. You took the same line as @AgDieseler, @rderosier, and I. The rest of the crew drove further over across the top and then went straight down. I don't know if they would admit it, but the difference in the obstacle even seemed to give the fast group some pause.

I'll admit it, pulling up to this was unsettling. Once A group rolled through I saw the line and it wasn't as stressful tho.

I was looking thru old Blazer Bash pictures of Pritchett to see how it's changed The biggest one I notice is Chewy. You can see a whole new ledge has been dug out at the bottom. These 3 go from 2009 (check out that familiar dude in the blue first gen), 2010, and 2021.

It also looks like there's a little more rock exposed at the bottom of Axle Hill. I don't think it's necessarily made it more difficult tho. This is 2009 vs 2021

And perhaps the most radical change I saw on Pritchett 2010 vs 2021....

yeah, that big rock on the passenger side was just begging to take out my quarter panel. The guy that went down right before me mangled the crap out of his.
I liked on the video when you asked if you could start turning passenger and Eric said "NO"

On Down and Dirty I don't mind any of the obstacle until that last bit of the drop on the right front, it appears huge from the drivers seat, it's a mind game situation but I did stop and make sure I had my Poop in a group to drive out of it if needed. Trouble is the drive out option puts you into other really big rocks fast.

It bothered me so much that I took the straight down shot further ahead!
