'89 R3500 Crew Cab 2wd to 4wd conversion & beyond

Started out with 2wd TBI350 with SM465 to current 4wd with 454, 700r4, NP241
I have the same problem with my trailer tires. Randomly drain. Swapped all of the cores out and no longer have the issue. My new cores are more than 20 years old. No idea where I got them.

On Holy Cross I finally ripped one of the Daystar cans off the bed side. I deleted the other one since the original reason for them was a little extra storage room on the Rubicon. I added an air hose coupler on the driver side and some cheap Amazon lights for night wheeling.

I also added some forward facing lights. Going for the "ditch" light concept with these.

And a short video playing around on a trail that's is closest to me.

I used to sell a bunch of these.

They also have emergency stems which you can put in the tire from the outside if you run into an issue and rip a stem or something like that.

I carry those in my truck.

I made the best mod to my truck!

Steering wheel knob! After seeing all the coolest YouTubers using them, I had to be a good little lemming and get one myself.

But seriously, I really did like it.

I got to test it out by finally crossing Eagle Rock and Saran Wrap off the list of trails I haven't run. On 2 previous attempts something happened to the crew cab keeping it from getting to the trail. Before Saturday, I had only been a passenger on those trails.

I always wanted one for my big rig, never happened.
If I ever finish building my suburban I might put one

Steering knobs are for tractors, if you put one on your truck that means you are going too slow. ;)

On a more serious note, that is a pretty nice one, I like it.
Well yeah, it's for slow going quick steering like maneuvering off road, or in my tractor when I was backing in to docks in tight places

be careful with that knob bump steer can break your wrist. At one point in time they were banned on street driven cars. I am not current on that or which states.

edit: just looked it up only CA and NY have any requirements about Brodie knobs, and that is they don't obstruct view, or interfere with controls or airbags

With the hydraulic ram assist, I doubt bump steer could do any effect enough to hurt you
