Looking good! Come down and do mine next!

****, i'll fly down and paint YOUR rig for that price. I plan to drink the beer first, and make no guarantees of the paint quality. Pick a color that bbq sauce doesn't show up in :haha:

Hmm, I want my truck painted white. Not sure how I'm gonna make that work. How about a feed bag filled with pulled pork, that way your hands stay clean!

You need to hit your fenderwells with black paint or undercoating or something. That stood out like a sore thumb to. The paint itself looks great, you did a good job on it.

just found a ls1 5.3 with computer and harness for 850.. he says 80k on it... so temping!!! about the same price im looking at for a low miles tbi. just worries how much more money and work the swap would be

The biggest thing is the computer and harness, and that deal comes with it.:thumb: I would say you could do it under 1500 easily with the cost of the engine.

he said he was playing on putting it in a 70 chev pickup and it was only missing the starter and alternator. i need to do some do some research on the ls1. im so old school. would it bolt to the 700r4 and would my fuel pump work

Nothing new with the burb expect I had to move it out of my way in the garage so since it was sunny day and it was very dusty I washed it out in the drive. Thats the first time I've seen it out in the sunlight since I painted it. :thumb:

It was also very enjoyable to hand wash it with having paint flakes end up in my wash rag... oh and having it look really nice clean was a plus!
Missing a door handle still, I lost a spring and trying to track one down, looks like I'm just gonna have to order one from lmc... sigh!

I'm thinking it looks pretty good at a stock height with the rallys, its growing on me.

I've started detailing our trucks at work for some side cash, Polishing the aluminum and my dad has been helping with the painting. One truck down and two more to go, that'll get me real close to an engine.

i'm a big fan of low lift and big tires, rallye wheels too. if i was starting fresh with my suburban i'd do 3" or so and 35s on stock rallye wheels.

Is the trim on your suburban as nice up close as it looks in the pictures?
