Rene, if you can't find a stock front bumper I still have the one off my 88 sitting in the barn collecting dust. I think it even still has the brackets.
 
I appreciate the offer, but I should be able to get something local sooner or later. Time to scour Craigslist some, although the last time I seached CL for a front bumper I found and bought a 454. :doah: :haha:

I just spent an hour cleaning and scrubbing the interior (again). I swear the PO spent every waking hour in this truck spilling coffee and chain smoking. It's gonna take several more cleanings to get it completely clean, but for now it's presentable and decent inside.

I love the look of em too. They're poorly geared though and I have the one ton stuff sitting here. Also, the eventual big block would probably kill them pretty quick. I'm gonna try to find some 8 lug 16X7 stockers and run dog dish hubcaps. Likely have the rims powdercoated. I think the hard part will be finding a decent set of dog dish hubcaps. They're not as common as they once were.

The big problem is finding Dog Dish hubcaps that will clear a Big hub dana 44 or Dana 60 hub. there even rarer still
 
I was figuring on having to open up the center hole so they'd clear the D60 hubs anyways, or even starting with a pair or full caps and just create the hub hole from scratch. Usually the full caps are easier to find anyways.

yeah, stock used to be so not cool. now the original look is coming back. original with just a little bit bigger tires...and maybe some trimming...and...

Yep, 6 lug hardcore stuff right now, with sooper dooper 3.42's and a wore out Gov-bomb. Next step is the 60/14 and 8 lug stuff though.

I'm in the midst of a project I've never done in a K5 before...should be complete tomorrow. I'm installing a Sony Xplod stereo, and Sirius Sat radio. hopefully it sounds OK.
