Wish I had the patience and talent to do GOOD body work like you!..I try,but get discouraged when I see even new panels rot away here in a few years,if that..or some jerk HITS you right after its done!..
My 85 Burb has a similar looking lower rear 1/4,but no damage above the mouldinmg strip...you might be able to get that dent out by using a stud welder and a morgan knocker,I've seen my friend do a few on used cars with one,and he is NO body man,let me tell ya!..you can slide hammer it out and just skim coat it with bondo...
Me?..I just braze or pop rivet galvanized stove pipe over rotted or dented areas now,most times I dont even put any bondo over it,I just paint it..as long as it passes for a sticker,I'm beyond caring how "nice" my trucks look any more,I just want them to run,get me there,and back home again!..
