Cool! I'll try that. Thanks. I was thinking about graphite, but didn't know if it would be best for an automotive application or not.
Depending on which topper is in better condition, I'll either keep the new topper or swap the windows in. I'm stoked! I'm suspecting my current topper is in nicer shape simply because the donor top is from 1978.






Tried any graphite lube for the door lock?
NAPA sells a small spray can of graphite door lube that I swear by. Works great for old gummed up locks and one spray before winter keeps them from freezing up from the outside.
Bummer. I suppose I might need to add the relay mod to the window motor while I'm in there.
Made me think to post mine.

Damn close to a high center situation, but we ultimately made it OK.

It should be noted that this is actually a very steep part of trail. Hard to tell from the pics though. This pic gives an idea of the steepness if you consider how close the camera is to the truck and how high the rocks climb.
