If it's blowing through that easy, it may have corrosion on the inside and be extra thin. Nothing you can do about that, but I wouldn't trust the bondo. Something's you can aim the gun almost horizontal so the wire doesnt poke down into the hole as it feeds. Then you can rotate the tip down just enough to get it to zap the hole closed. It all happens in a 1/2 second so kinda tricky but can work.
Can also tack around the hole a bit so the material around the hole is thicker and then zap the hole closed. More grinding after, but can do the job.
