91 K5 -Procrastination Build - bikini top!

Thanks. I'm going to try and work on the Blazer Saturday evening and Sunday.

I had a weak moment today and bought some stock 12 bolt H1's, $200 for 5 with runflats. I'm not going to do anything with them right away, going to back burner them until my current way to old list of projects is done then I'll re enter them and add rock rings. I really love my Weld wheels but I (theoretically) need beadlocks more than I need bling.

Hey Travis, How have you been? Still got the red truck?

Been good. Yeah I've still got it, I just crank it up and drive it around every so often, but nothing new. We bought a house to rehab and sell, so thats been taking up all my free time. Hopefully one day in the future I can get it further along. Im really in love with the idea of the ORD coilover set up, but I still need a shop at my new house, so it will be a while before I get to do much to it. But she runs and drives so thats a plus!

It belongs to a friend but he only has a 2” die. He’s offered to bring it over, help bend up any additional tubes I want and the tig it together. Probably do some work on his bronco too. I’ve got to poo some money for tubing.

My latest $40 eBay gamble; a locking hydraulic drifting brake. Going to see if I can use it as an emergency brake (for short periods). I say short periods because I don't really trust it to hold pressure for hours / days, I just need something to hold the truck if I want to get out for a few minutes (like stopping to close the shop / gate as I leave, etc).

I still need to figure out the fitting sizes and a good place to mount it. I'm also debating between hard lines and hoses, probably go with hoses.

Bump

When I went in to the shop last weekend the Blazer was still there. :D

I can't wait to put one of those into my truck. It's going to be so much fun on the street. :rotfl:

I know right?! Get those funny looks when you come sliding up to a light. :rotfl:

Honestly, I would have liked to have bought a front vs rear cutting brake but I've never seen one that locked.
